Federal Installation Support Service Technician, Clearance Required TS/SCI with Poly, San Antonio, TX, Onsite Full Title: Federal Installation Support Service Technician Location: San Antonio, TX; Role: Onsite, primarily working from an HPE office. Job Summary This role focuses on delivering onsite software services, pre‑sales, post‑sales, and installation/configuration support for customer environments across standard industry servers, specialized or clustered setups. It involves resolving complex business, networking, and application problems to ensure customer satisfaction, service level compliance, and revenue growth. Responsibilities Apply deep technical background and industry knowledge to operate critical or high‑risk technology areas. Integrate technical and business insights to design and implement solutions for customers. Mentor and consult team members, customers, and vendors on complex issues. Act as a consultant in service delivery, technology, or specific application areas. Resolve technical and business incidents independently. Assist less‑experienced team members on complex incidents. Provide strategic account support by maintaining high‑level technical and operational expertise. Review support plans for business indicators and map to company service solutions. Develop and grow assigned customer account relationships with complex and strategic accounts. Act as a trusted advisor for customer and sales teams. Design and deliver support solutions using industry knowledge; assist Mission Critical or project managers in solution formation. Lead Mission Critical delivery teams in planning, execution, and management of complex support solutions. Suggest operational efficiencies. Create and deliver Value‑Based Delivery (VBD) account plans. Lead customer expectation management as part of escalation process. Provide inputs to operational methods and programs impacting business management strategy. Knowledge and Skills In‑depth knowledge of company and industry‑standard computing environments, operating systems, and applications. Strong understanding of corporate organization, policies, and competition. Proficiency in company product and service offerings and market trends. Mastery‑level business, technical, or functional knowledge plus administrative or operations knowledge. Ability to anticipate customer needs, develop solutions, and build consensus. Experience in providing Mission Critical customer recommendations and process improvements. Knowledge of change‑management processes and tools in complex environments. Advanced skills in project management, communication, analysis, and presentation. Expertise in focus area and awareness of future technology directions. Mission Critical and ITIL certifications. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree preferred or Associate degree holder in a technical field. 6–8 years of relevant work experience. Required Qualifications US citizenship. TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly. Expertise in troubleshooting and delivering complex technology solutions.
