Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with physical impairments using evidence-based techniques
- Develop personalized treatment plans to restore mobility and improve quality of life
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license in Florida or compact privilege
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program (DPT preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting
- BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility training
- Proficient with electronic medical records and documentation
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations for skilled nursing facilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
