Help

Performs preventive maintenance and minor repairs on refrigeration, air conditioning, and heating systems; inspects components (compressors, filters, ducts, etc.), cleans or replaces parts, and reports major issues to HVAC mechanics.

Maintains and repairs water and waste systems, clears drains, replaces pipes and fixtures, installs pumps and valves, insulates water lines, and tests plumbing systems after repairs.

Performs routine carpentry and structural maintenance, including framing, partitions, shelves, doors, and windows. Measures and cuts materials, installs and adjusts components, and fabricates simple sheet metal items.

Repairs and installs basic electrical wiring, fixtures, switches, outlets, and breakers; identifies faults using simple testing tools and refers complex problems to electricians.

Sets concrete forms, mixes and pours concrete for sidewalks and slabs, performs surface repairs, and conducts basic brick, block, and stone masonry work.

Uses a computerized maintenance management system to receive, document, and close work orders. Performs painting and surface preparation, snow removal, grounds maintenance, and assists with moving and delivering supplies and materials.
