- Supporting veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Providing attentive and compassionate nursing care
- Safely handling and restraining patients
- Collecting and preparing diagnostic samples
- Performing venipuncture
- Placing and maintaining IV catheters
- Supporting diagnostic testing and in-house laboratory work
- Assisting with digital radiography
- Preparing and administering medications and treatments as directed
- Monitoring patients and communicating changes to the medical team
- Educating clients about patient care and veterinary recommendations
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Keeping treatment and patient-care areas clean, organized, and ready for the day
- Collaborating with teammates to maintain an efficient workflow
- Providing compassionate care to patients while supporting the people who love them
