ROOM ATTENDANT

Job Description
As a Room Attendant, you will be essential in upholding the cleanliness and attractiveness of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel. Your responsibilities will include daily service of guest rooms, restocking supplies, and ensuring adherence to company standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform thorough cleaning and organization of guest rooms, including changing linens, making beds, and maintaining the bathroom.

- Keep the guest room tidy by sweeping, dusting, and cleaning windows and balconies.

- Stock and arrange the housekeeping cart according to safety and security guidelines.

- Address guest requests promptly and courteously to ensure their satisfaction.

- Report any room issues or damage to the Senior Housekeeper and handle lost items left by guests.

- Collaborate with the Housekeeping Supervisor to prioritize tasks and offer support as necessary.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

- Previous experience in a hotel or similar field is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

- Average workweek of 36-40 hours, with occasional long hours.

- Capable of lifting, pulling, and pushing moderate weight (at least 20 lbs).

- Able to bend, lift, and stand or walk for the entire shift.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly.

- Attentive and responsive to co-workers' and guests' concerns and issues.
