Description
We are seeking an experienced Sand Blaster for a growing metal manufacturing company in Fresno. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of sandblasting experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment and be committed to producing high-quality finishes while maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, smooth, and prepare metal surfaces.
- Remove rust, scale, paint, and other contaminants from metal components.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Prepare materials for painting, coating, or fabrication processes.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of blasting equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Assist with other production duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of sandblasting experience in metal manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial settings.
- Ability to work with various blasting materials and equipment.
- Experience reading work orders and following specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
