HVAC Installer

Overview The HVAC Installer is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and mechanical components/equipment. Performs service projects/small jobs from beginning to completion and ensures total customer satisfaction throughout. Responsibilities Installation and commission of a wide variety of HVAC & refrigeration equipment. Unloads material and assist with staging materials. Installs supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures and equipment. Installs water treatment equipment, piping and controls. Establishes and maintains clear communications with customers while both on and off the customer job sites. Assists in maintaining inventory and tool procurement of individual service vehicle. Promotes and performs all aspects of Company safety procedures and policies. Qualifications Maintenance experience with chillers, boilers, pumps, AHUs and other equipment. Ability to troubleshoot, mechanical and diagnostic skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment. Versed in the industry and the Company’s competitors. Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary. Current Licensed Technician or verifiable experience in service of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. Holds an EPA Certification. Outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind Noisy environment Low temperature High temperature Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles Climbing stairs. Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers Medium work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 50 pounds 0-5% of the time will be spent traveling to the job site(s)/office locations. Pay Range USD $19.18 - USD $25.64 /Hr.
