Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Infusion

Role: The RN Outpatient Infusion Nurse provides specialized infusion care, primarily for oncology patients, in a satellite outpatient treatment setting. Responsibilities: Deliver direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with nursing standards. Develop and document individualized care plans, collaborate with the healthcare team, and communicate effectively across care settings. Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while participating in professional development initiatives. Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers. Qualifications & Skills: Must have an RN license, with a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree; Bachelor's preferred. Two or more years of RN experience and oncology experience are preferred. Strong IV insertion and port access skills, compassionate patient-centered care, critical thinking, and organizational abilities are essential.
