Clayton Services is searching for a  Service Center Coordinator to join a thriving company in the Clute, Texas area. The  Service Center Coordinator will serve as a key point of contact for a busy service location, providing administrative support, assisting field personnel, coordinating parts and supplies, and helping ensure daily operations run smoothly.

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $27.00/hour

Service Center Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day administrative support for a busy field service operation.
• Assist field personnel with timekeeping, service documentation, and other administrative requirements.
• Maintain accurate employee, customer, and service-related records.
• Communicate with customers regarding documentation, billing information, scheduling, and general service needs.
• Assist with parts and materials needed to support field service activities.
• Maintain appropriate levels of office supplies, parts, and other commonly used materials.
• Assist with inventory organization and coordinate the replenishment of supplies and materials as needed.
• Coordinate appointments, meetings, training, and other scheduling needs.
• Provide professional and responsive customer service to customers, employees, vendors, and visitors.
• Assist with billing documentation and resolve missing or incomplete information.
• Maintain an organized and professional service location.
• Provide additional administrative and operational support as needed.

Service Center Coordinator Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience supporting field or Service Technicians preferred.
• Experience with parts, inventory, or materials coordination preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial or customer-specific timekeeping systems is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with field employees, customers, vendors, and management.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of day-to-day administrative needs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new service, inventory, and timekeeping systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card as required for customer site access.

Service Center Coordinator Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of administrative, customer service, service coordination, parts, or related industry experience preferred.
• Previous experience in an industrial, mechanical, field service, or similar environment is preferred.
• Previous hospitality or customer-facing experience is a plus.
• Experience with technician support, parts, inventory, or industrial timekeeping is strongly preferred.
