LTL utilizes power and air tools to build a wood crate to protect product integrity to the customer and then loads crate onto a trailer with a Pacer PIT. Shop utilizes power tools to apply extension jams or mull units together based on a description in our WMS system. All departments utilize an RF scanner to systematically move product throughout the building and to load trailers. All departments utilize WMS on a computer or tablet. All departments could be cross trained into other departments across the building. All departments utilize power industrial trucks such as walkie, pacer, sitdown fork lift, reach and or order picker./ph3Position Responsibilities/h3ulliLoads staged doors, windows and accessories into trailers/liliSecures load for transit using straps/liliInspects loads to ensure that cargo is secure/liliBuilds crates utilizing power tools for LTL shipment/liliApply extension jams or mull units utilizing power tools while utilizing WMS for directions/liliAssists other workers as needed/liliPerforms housekeeping duties as needed/liliAssists other departments as needed/li/ulh3Minimum Qualification, Skill and/or Competency Requirements/h3ulliMust pass drug test and background check./lili18 years or older/liliAbility to physically push/pull a force of 198 lbs and occasionally greater/liliAbility to lift/carry 78 lbs. occasionally./liliPIT Training/ PIT License required for all tasks/li/ulh3Culture And Benefits/h3pAt Andersen, we believe our people are at the heart of everything we do.
