Minimum 1+ years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Active ARRT (Radiography) certification; IR certification preferred
• Valid state license for Radiologic Technology (if required)
• At least one year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist
• Strong familiarity with IR procedures, equipment, and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and equipment for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and infection control guidelines
• Operate fluoroscopy, CT, and other imaging equipment to assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures, providing support and reassurance as needed
• Accurately document imaging and procedural details in patient records
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other technologists to ensure optimal workflow and patient outcomes
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly
• Stay current with advances in IR practices through continued education and training

$2,904 - $3,072/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
