Senior Technical Lead – SAP HCM US Payroll
\nLocation: Remote (Occasional travel to Jackson, MI may be required)
\nExperience Required: 7+ Years
\nQualification: Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Engineering, or related field
\n \nRole
\nWe are looking for an experienced SAP HCM US Payroll Senior Technical Lead to join a dynamic team supporting and enhancing enterprise HR and Payroll solutions. This role requires a strong technical background in SAP HCM and the ability to lead complex implementations, support activities, and business process improvements.
\n \nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Support and enhance SAP HCM modules including: Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Benefits, US Payroll, Time Management \n
- Configure and customize SAP HCM modules to meet evolving business requirements. \n
- Design and optimize organizational structures, enterprise structures, payroll configurations, and time management policies. \n
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions. \n
- Support workflow automation and HR process improvements. \n
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company HR policies. \n
- Manage integrations between SAP HCM and third-party applications. \n
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to payroll processing, benefits administration, time evaluation, time recording, and shift scheduling. \n
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and support teams. \n
- Drive best practices, code reviews, quality assurance, and performance optimization initiatives. \n
- Lead technical discussions, solution reviews, effort estimations, and feasibility assessments. \n
Required Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of hands-on SAP HCM experience \n
- Strong experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA HCM \n
- Expertise in: \n

\n-Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs)
\n-Time Evaluation
\n-Personnel Administration (PA)
\n-Organizational Management (OM)
\n-Benefits Administration
\n-Time Management

- Strong understanding of HR processes and business rules \n
- Experience supporting custom SAP HCM solutions and enhancements \n
- Experience with payroll implementations, support, and optimization \n
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills \n
Preferred Qualifications

- SAP HCM Certification \n
- Experience with HR workflow automation \n
- Experience integrating SAP HCM with third-party applications \n
