TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Atlanta, Georgia, 30308!

Job Title

Registered Nurse – PACU

Location

Atlanta, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week) | Includes on-call and weekend requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical or procedural interventions
• Monitor and assess patient status during the immediate post-operative recovery phase

• Respond to on-call assignments, including 2 weeknight call shifts per month (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Fulfill one 12-hour weekend evening shift per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions and handoffs

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 18 months of PACU experience
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts including weekends and on-call obligations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or academic medical center PACU setting
• Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills in a post-anesthesia environment
