Press Brake Operator (CNC) Clackamas / Portland, OR $25-$32/hr (DOE) Full-Time | Day Shift | Overtime Available About us A locally owned fabrication shop focused on precision, quality, and custom metal work. We take pride in producing clean, accurate parts-and we're looking for someone who does the same. Position Overview We're hiring a CNC Press Brake Operator who can set up and run jobs independently. This is not just a button-pushing role-you'll be responsible for setups, accuracy, and producing high-quality parts from start to finish. What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC press brake machines Select and install proper tooling (dies & punches) Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks Adjust for bend allowances, spring-back, and material differences Maintain organized workflow and safe material handling Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment What We're Looking For 2+ years of press brake experience (setup experience preferred) Ability to read blueprints independently Strong understanding of: Bend deductions / allowances Metal properties (steel, stainless, aluminum) Holding tight tolerances Solid shop math skills (fractions, decimals, angles) Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented Preferred (Nice to Have) CNC programming experience Job shop or custom fabrication background Forklift or material handling experience Compensation & Benefits $25-$32/hr depending on experience Overtime available Steady, full-time work Growth opportunities for higher-level operators Work Environment Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Steel-toe boots required (PPE enforced) Apply Today Submit your resume with your press brake and fabrication experience.
