Accounts Receivable Representative

At Whitehorse Freight, we don’t just move freight — we keep the business moving behind the scenes, too. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, dependable Accounts Receivable Specialist who can keep customer accounts organized, payments flowing, and communication running smoothly.
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting cash flow, customer communication, and overall operational efficiency. If you’re organized, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Log and apply electronic customer payments accurately and efficiently
- Receive, process, and apply paper checks received by mail
- Monitor and manage the Accounts Receivable email inbox
- Respond to customer requests for statements, invoices, and payment information
- Work closely with brokers to resolve customer issues including missing paperwork or rate discrepancies
- Generate, review, and distribute customer invoices in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records and ensure customer accounts stay up to date
- Provide excellent communication and support to both customers and internal teams

- Comfortable working with internal teams and external customers
- Experience with Microsoft Office and accounting or transportation software preferred
- Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy
