Transportation Independent Adjuster – Southern California (Remote/Field-Based)

We are seeking an experienced Independent Adjuster to handle commercial trucking insurance claims across Los Angeles and the surrounding counties. This is a remote, field-based role with local travel and strong autonomy that requires on-site inspections and in-person client interactions.

Compensation- $81,900 - $93,600 projected starting annual earnings + overtime

Responsibilities

As part of your role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Conduct field investigations, interviews, and recorded statements
• Perform on-site inspections (cold calls, scene investigations, vehicle inspections, etc.)
• Evaluate claims and make adjustment recommendations
• Prepare detailed, professional reports
• Manage a full caseload independently

Qualifications

To excel in this role, the following qualifications and skills are essential:

• Minimum of 5 years of claims handling experience (commercial trucking preferred)
• Strong field investigation and inspection skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage regional travel
