Schedule

Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with a requirement of three 12-hour shifts a week and every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a level 2 trauma center. The ICU has 29 beds and specializes in advanced critical care with a heart program that performs approximately 200 cases per year, alongside supporting services such as CRRT, Impella, IABP, and ECMO.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients with critical conditions, ensuring close monitoring and advanced care.
• Administer medications and intravenous therapies, including vasoactive drips.
• Conduct hemodynamic assessments and interpret ABG results.
• Perform advanced procedures, including intubations, central line placements, and bedside trach placements.
• Collaborate with the medical team for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required, with additional certifications such as TNCC, NIH, and ABLS welcomed.
• Extensive ICU experience preferred, with average staff experience of 12 years.
• Advanced skills in vent management, hemodynamic monitoring, and ABG interpretation are essential.
