As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to routine security-related needs with integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.49 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri07:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat07:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Have at least one year of security-related experience. Meet hospital vaccine requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
