Records Manager for AI Model Evaluation

Records Managers apply professional records, archives, and library expertise to evaluate AI-generated outputs, create field-accurate prompts, and provide structured feedback that improves model performance on records-management tasks. Candidates can include Archivists, Information Managers, Collections Managers, and Librarians. No prior AI experience is required.

• Evaluate AI model responses for accuracy, relevance, tone, and applicability to records, archives, and library workflows.
• Develop prompts and scenario-based inputs that reflect real-world tasks in records management, archiving, and librarianship, then assess model outputs.
• Provide clear, structured annotations and feedback to help refine model understanding of workplace language, classification practices, and procedures.
• Follow project guidelines and quality standards while working asynchronously with project teams.

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in one or more of the following roles: Archivist, Records Manager, Information Manager, Collections Manager, Librarian, or equivalent.
• Relevant practical experience may include:

• Managing and organizing archival records, developing classification systems, and maintaining databases to ensure access and retrieval.
• Providing reference services, authenticating and appraising historical documents, and coordinating educational or outreach programs.
• Directing staff in cataloguing and preserving collections, and researching and acquiring materials to enhance archives or collections.

No prior AI experience is required, domain expertise is the primary qualification.

• Remote and asynchronous, complete tasks independently from your location.
• Part-time, flexible hours with no minimum required commitment; most assignments average 5 to 20 hours per week.
• Work is hourly and tied to temporary AI research projects, with task instructions and quality criteria provided per assignment.

Projects run year-round and new opportunities open periodically across different areas of expertise. Placement into specific projects depends on project availability, so applying now may lead to assignment immediately or to future opportunities as they become available.

• Up to $75/hr (depending on the project)

• F-1 students may be eligible if they have approved CPT or OPT authorization. Consult your Designated School Official to confirm whether participation meets your school''s requirements.
• If your school requires enrollment in a CPT course, this program may not satisfy that requirement.
• STEM OPT is not supported for these projects.
