Manager, Global Medical Information

AbbVie

Manager overseeing global medical information delivery for assigned therapeutic areas at AbbVie. Develops and maintains response content, manages inquiries from healthcare professionals and internal teams, and ensures regulatory compliance for medical communications.

Responsibilities

Develop, approve, and maintain global medical content and response documents for product inquiries
Respond to unsolicited inquiries from healthcare professionals and consumers with accurate, timely information
Critically evaluate literature and complex clinical data for multiple audiences
Participate in cross-functional teams and represent Medical Information at scientific conferences
Partner with internal colleagues to identify scientific gaps and develop innovative delivery solutions

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, PA, Pharmacy, or related health sciences field
2+ years pharmaceutical industry experience or 4+ years healthcare-related experience
Substantial understanding of relevant therapeutic area(s)
Strong clinical knowledge of disease states and clinical trial methodology
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Veeva Vault, and Salesforce systems
Excellent written and oral English communication skills; medical writing highly desired
Drug Information residency preferred
