Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurse for Medical Surgical units to provide high-quality patient care. The role involves managing post-operative and general medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
• Document patient progress and care activities accurately in Meditech Expanse.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float between MS2 and MS3 floors as needed to support staffing coverage.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license with state board.
• Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Proven experience with post-op and ortho patients.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to work 3 days per week, including every other weekend.
