About the Position

Job Title

CT Technologist (Radiology/Cardiology – CT)

New York, NY | Inpatient / Outpatient

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 5x8 Hours | Midnight – 8:30 AM, Monday–Friday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and X-rays across a range of procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Conduct X-ray procedures including extremities, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal imaging using both exam room and portable equipment
• Work independently during low-volume overnight shifts, managing a daily caseload of up to 20 patients across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
• Support inpatient and outpatient orthopedic imaging needs, with potential rotation across multiple departments within the facility
• Administer IV contrast as required; maintain compliance with all applicable imaging and patient safety protocols
• Maintain active NYS License with IV Certification, ARRT R, ARRT CT, BLS, and DOHNYS certifications throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State (NYS) Radiology License with IV Certification — must be in hand or have a confirmed issue date at time of submission
• ARRT Certifications in both Radiography (R) and CT — both required
• BLS and DOHNYS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Experience operating Siemens imaging equipment
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment in excess of 150 pounds, with or without assistive devices
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic EMR
• Background in outpatient, inpatient, ER, and adult ICU imaging settings
• Experience performing portable X-rays
• Familiarity with orthopedic imaging environments
