Senior Software Engineer (Java + Python + CI/CD)

Position: Senior Software Engineer

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid - 4 days/week onsite)

Type: Full-Time

About the Role:
You will be part of a team driving strategic technology initiatives across streaming, linear, and theatrical business channels. The team focuses on status aggregation, metadata processing, QC state tracking, and building a search platform for the content supply chain .

Key Skills & Must-Haves:

• Strong experience with Java + Python (Scala a big plus)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
• Familiarity with cloud (AWS preferred), Docker, Git, and messaging systems (Kafka, Kinesis, SQS)
• Strong understanding of async programming, concurrency, and web standards
• Excellent communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Scala/functional programming
• Media domain experience
• Experience integrating media players into web apps

Interview Process:

• Initial screening call
• Technical coding round (Hacker Rank - Java & Python)
• Final behavioral round

This role requires candidates to be based in New York due to in-person team collaboration.
