Our dental assistants have full scope of responsibility, from setup and surgery assistance to impressions, X‑rays, ordering supplies, and patient communication. Responsibilities Live company core values Take impressions and pour molds Take patient photos Take X‑rays and cone beam scans Schedule appointments in the scheduling platform Set up and take down operating rooms, ensuring no one needs to leave the surgery room Place orders for basic and implant supplies Adjust and re‑line prostheses Assist the doctor during a variety of surgical implant procedures Deliver pre‑ and post‑operative instructions Sterilize and clean daily equipment Manage patient expectations and deliver the best patient care Qualifications Registered dental assistant with proper certifications BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Self‑starter who works well as part of a team Patient‑centric with good communication skills Outgoing and empathetic Flexible and a quick learner Excellent organizational skills and high office aptitude A Day In The Life Surgery prep and start: Prepare instruments and patients for surgery, meet surgeon and CRNA to review expectations, assist with intubation and surgery. Morning huddle: Review the day’s schedule and partner with team to discuss specific patient needs. Meet lab deadlines: Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines, ensuring prosthetics within 24 hours. Overcoming obstacles: Problem‑solve daily equipment challenges and patient delays to keep processes running smoothly. Perform circular tasks: Order supplies, sterilize, ensure compliance, handle lab requests.
