Job OverviewAre you a skilled ICU nurse eager to embrace a new opportunity in a vibrant setting? Do you excel in high-stress environments and have a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care? If this resonates with you, we have an exciting role available in our Step-Down ICU and ICU units.
Key Responsibilities- Implement the nursing process to provide care for patients in both ICU and Step-Down ICU settings.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to nursing standards and state regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in accordance with established standards.
- Design and implement tailored care plans for individual patients.
- Engage in performance improvement initiatives and participate in shared governance.
- Offer clinical expertise and support to other departments and units.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.
- Current Illinois nursing license, along with CPR, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; verification of education is required.
This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
