Connecticut GI – Procedure Scheduler Connecticut GI, a division of GI Alliance, is looking for a full‑time Procedure Scheduler to join our Rocky Hill Care Center. We are the largest gastroenterology practice in the state of Connecticut with over 30 care centers and are still growing. Why Work for CTGI Selected as a Top Workplace 8 times Competitive pay Very fast‑growing practice What You Will Do Schedule procedures and office visit appointments following CTGI policy and scripting Update insurance and demographic information, obtain cardiac clearance when warranted, and follow up on procedures to ensure the ASC has documentation Assist with any general office functions at the request of site supervisors or managers and support other CTGI staff as required to ensure proper patient care and smooth office functioning Answer incoming phone lines, take clear concise messages, compose, process, and follow‑up on electronic messages and alerts, and route messages to the correct provider or employee Maintain familiarity with providers’ preferred preparation protocols What We Are Looking For In You High school diploma or equivalent At least two years of related experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong problem‑solving skills Exceptional interpersonal and customer‑service skills (3+ years of professional experience) Experience with an EMR system is ideal; Epic experience is a plus Ability to prioritize and multi‑task Ability to function well in a high‑paced and at times stressful environment Job type: Full‑time Salary range: $18.00 – $30.00 per hour, depending on experience Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Employee assistance program Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (Day shift) Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (required) Experience Requirements Microsoft Office: 3 years (required) Customer Service: 3 years (required) EMR systems: 1 year (preferred) Work location: In person Additional Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent customer service skills Experience working in a medical office Ability to multi‑task and work in fast‑paced environment Detail‑oriented Basic understanding of healthcare plans and ability to read and understand medical benefits Bilingual is a plus Education High school diploma or equivalent Experience 2–5 years of prior medical scheduling is preferred Requirements for Level I Status Entry level (1–4 years experience) and/or meeting the basic requirements of the job with a need for additional supervision Exceeding 4 years experience if meeting only the basic requirements of the job with need for additional supervision Performance Requirements Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Proficient technical (computer) skills Ability to multi‑task and prioritize Self‑motivated with initiative Strong sense of ethics GI Alliance is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
