ECEAP Family Service Worker JobID: 2729 Date Posted: 6/24/2026 Location: ECEAP Program (Early Childhood) Job Summary Under the direction of the Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) Supervisor, the employee is responsible for working with parents, families and community services to implement the ECEAP program. Specific responsibilities are as described on the attached job description. Salary Range: $35.23 - $39.75 per 2026-27 Public School Employees Salary Schedule. Above pay rates do not include holiday and pay in lieu of vacation, which increases the hourly compensation. Work Schedule Start Date: September 1, 2026 Shift: Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 1:45 p.m. Calendar: 9 months/year; time off during spring break, winter break, and summer, plus 10 paid holidays. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.

• a) An associate or higher degree with the equivalent of 30 college quarter credits in adult education, human development, human services, family support, social work, early childhood education, child development, psychology, or another field directly related to the job responsibilities.
• b) A credential from a DCYF approved comprehensive and competency-based Family/Social Service training program that increases knowledge and skills in providing direct services to families.
• c) A Washington State ECE Home Visitor Certificate.
• d) A Home Visitor Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential from the Council of Professional Recognition.

Minimally, must meet Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) standards of: AA Degree or higher, or 72 quarter hours or 48 college semester credits of 100 or higher, or Pass the Para-Pro Assessment via Educational Testing Services (ETS). Must meet the Fundamental Course of Study (FCS) requirements, provided at time of hire. Must have a Tuberculosis (TB) test submitted to the district as soon as possible after employment is accepted, and no later than 30 days after employment begins. First Aid/CPR with AED certificate. Food Handler's Permit. Current Portable Background Check on file with WA State MERIT system. Current negative TB Test on file with WA State MERIT system. Experience with family-centered preschool programs is preferred. Blood Borne Pathogen Training yearly. Ability to meet the qualifications as listed on the job description for this position.
