Travel Physical Therapist - $1,855 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate 13‑week assignment in Pinehurst, North Carolina. The position requires 40 hours per week on 8‑hour shifts. A 1‑year experience requirement is typical; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered. Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in an acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the setting, following facility guidelines. Understand and comply with the respective PT board’s rules and regulations in the state. Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care. Understand adaptive equipment and incorporate its use into treatment. Modify plans of care as indicated based on patient condition. Use the medical center’s computer systems for daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation per state and/or insurance guidelines. Qualifications 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged); 1‑year experience preferred. Active BLS certification and state‑specific licensing. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods and bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. Additional certifications may be required before the assignment (e.g., specialty areas).
