Travel Ultrasound Technologist - $2,757 per week

Job Title: Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer Location: Washington, District of Columbia Assignment Start Date: July 13, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week (8‑hour days, 5 days a week) Shift: Days, 5x8hrs Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Perform ultrasound procedures and produce diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation. Operate ultrasound equipment, maintain records, and perform quality‑control procedures. Adhere to regulatory and accreditation standards for documentation. Assist in diagnosis and treatment of disease states through ultrasound techniques. Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in a U.S. hospital. Active ARRT (Ultrasound) certification; no pending licenses. Current BLS certification (AHA). High school diploma or equivalent; diploma from an accredited radiologic technology program. BS or MS in Healthcare preferred. Lead Ultrasound Technologist experience preferred. U.S. SSN and date of birth required for consideration. References: two manager or supervisor references from the past 12 months, at least one from the most recent employer. Candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility. License required if applicable. Additional Information Performs ultrasound procedures using related techniques for diagnosis and treatment. Maintains required records per regulatory and accreditation agency standards. Performs equipment quality control and reports deficiencies to a supervisor. CPI certification mandated for this position. Compensation & Benefits Pay based on 8‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
