Job Description Job Title: Quality Inspector 1st Shift Location: Painesville, OH Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour Schedule Monday Thursday: 5:30 a.m. 2:30 p.m. Friday: 5:30 a.m. 11:30 a.m. Company Overview Mancan has partnered with a Painesville precision machining facility that specializes in the production of high-quality, close-tolerance components for a variety of industries. We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector to join their growing team on 1st shift. Position Summary The Quality Inspector will be responsible for conducting final inspections of machined parts using magnification tools and inspection checklists. This role ensures all products meet strict quality standards before packaging and shipment. Key Responsibilities Perform final inspection using designated inspection checklists Utilize 10X and 3X magnification microscopes to inspect fine details of machined components Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records Identify and report any nonconforming products to the Inspection Foreman or Quality Manager Package finished parts per written instructions and customer specifications Assist with other quality-related tasks as assigned by the Inspection Foreman or Quality Manager Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality inspection role preferred Comfortable working with microscopes (10X and 3X magnification) Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Ability to follow detailed written instructions and checklists Good communication and teamwork skills High school diploma or equivalent Work Environment Climate-controlled production floor Work performed while seated or standing for extended periods Must be able to handle small, precision parts with care Benefits Mancan Temporary Staffing Employment Agency offers our temporary employees full benefits such as paid vacation, holidays, 401K, as well as vision, dental, and medical.
