Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Required as Scheduled

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting across all age groups, from infants to geriatrics
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients presenting with a variety of complex diagnoses, including behavioral health and trauma cases
• Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:4, up to 1:5 with lower acuity patients
• Float within the Emergency Department specialty as needed
• Adhere to scheduling requirements including every other weekend and holidays as they fall

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license for the state of Maryland or a valid Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association only)
• Current CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor)
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Permanent address must be 50 or more miles from the facility location

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Experience with behavioral health and trauma patient populations
