Technical Project Manager

Project ManagerThe project manager will be responsible for assisting in delivering a large scale, complex, enterprise-wide project on time, and on budget. This role relies on project management experience, technical experience, and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals.To successfully deliver this project, the following duties will be required:Establish and foster relationships with assigned internal clients/stakeholders.Understand clients' business process to better guide them on project technology decisions.As required, evaluate whether any internal applications or products can meet client's IT need and conduct space market research to evaluate available COTS solutions. Recommend a best fit IT solution.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a member of a teamPrepare a plan document defining the project schedule and budget, project team framework and scope, highlighting the milestones and the execution strategy.Provide vendor management for large projects from start to completion of projectOversee the Business Analysis process.Develop rollout plan and oversee deployment into production, including developing a support plan.Execution of project from start to finish and meet with key stakeholder to understand current operationsProvide guidance on best solution to streamline or process re-engineer their current operationsConduct JAD sessions or workshops with business users to elicit information regarding their need and requirements for existing or new systemsAssist in the development of functional requirement documentsMaintain and update the project schedule on a regular basis.Conduct status meetings. Assure proper articulation and reporting of project status to stakeholders and executive management. Develop professional and consistent meeting minutes that support consensus and alignment across stakeholdersCreate Presentations and Conduct Demos of systems/applications for projects and Stakeholders.Work in coordination with an existing PM on an in-flight projectAdditional Skills:Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in application and network deploymentExperience in leading multi-departmental meetings7+ years of experience in a role as IT project manager leading complex, enterprise-wide technical and/or business initiatives.7+ years of experience with managing SDLC Waterfall and/or Agile methodology projects.7+ years of experience in creating project management artifacts (project charter, project plan, timelines (MS Project software), requirements documents, project and resource planning, deployment plans, support plans, conversion plans.7+ years in gathering requirements, business analysis, use cases and creating functional requirements documents.4+ years of experience managing web-based applications especially.net and java web based solutions using SQL Server 2008 and aboveExperience working on Cloud ApplicationsKnowledge of Oracle NMS, Oracle OUA, or Exadata a plus.Required Skills: Technical.
