Job Type: Full-Time (T-F 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM + Saturday 10 AM – 6:30 PM)
Salary Range: $19 – $22 per hour
Overview:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team. This person will handle day-to-day shipping needs for our print production facility, making sure all outgoing orders are packed correctly, documented accurately, and shipped out on time. You’ll work closely with other departments to plan pickups, troubleshoot any delivery issues, and keep things running smoothly—both for domestic and international shipments.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process and ship packages through FedEx, UPS, and DHL .
- Double-check packing slips against shipping lines to make sure all items are packed and accounted for.
- Coordinate with other departments to stay ahead of large outgoing orders and arrange extra carrier pickups when needed.
- Help troubleshoot shipment issues , including tracking errors or delays.
- Prepare and organize international shipping documents , including commercial invoices and customs forms.
- Keep detailed shipping records and update tracking information.
- Maintain a clean, organized shipping area and handle products safely.
- Communicate with carriers and internal teams to keep shipments on schedule.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in a shipping or warehouse role (print or production experience is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with FedEx, UPS, and DHL systems.
- Familiar with international shipping requirements and customs paperwork.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to catch errors before shipments go out.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move around the warehouse as needed.
