Customer Service Specialist

Description Position at Conair LLC Customer Service Representative (CSR) Mission Deliver service excellence to both internal and external customers by driving continuous process improvement and collaborating with IT to enhance systems and tools. The CSR role is essential to company success, supporting key functions from customer master data management in SAP to order processing, issue resolution, and returns. Position Summary Customer Service Representativesare responsible forprocessing customer purchase orders for assigned primary and backup accounts,submittedvia email and EDI. The role requires ensuring data accuracy, coordinating across departments, and proactively resolving order and delivery issues. Key Responsibilities Process and manage customer purchase orders in SAP Ensure customer and material master data accuracy Partner with Sales & Marketing to resolve PO issues andoptimizeallocations Coordinate with Shipping and Transportation on: Delivery scheduling and appointments Order extensions, OTIF Delivery discrepancies Troubleshoot customer service and order-related issues Maintain strong cross-functional communication with other internal departments Take full ownership of assigned accounts and ensure high service standards Qualifications & Requirements Strong computer skills withaccuratedata entry capabilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office (priority to Excel), and EDI preferred Ability to manage high email volume efficiently Strong reliability, punctuality, and attendance record What Success Looks Like Accurate andtimelyorder processing Strong customer satisfaction and issue resolution Effective collaboration across departments Proactive problem-solving and follow-through What We Offer: Comprehensive Medical/Dental/Vision plans Generous Paid Time Off Programs Life & Disability Insurance FSA/HSA/Dependent Care FSA Paid Parental Leave 401k and company match EAP & Employee Wellness Programs Volunteer Days Paid Time Off This is a remote position with occasional travel to East Windsor, NJ office. Candidate should be commutable distance to East Windsor, NJ.
