Corporate Accountant - NYC

DescriptionKforce has a client seeking Corporate Accountants in NYC.Day to Day Responsibilities: * Lead month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely reconciliations of all accounts, (balance sheet, income statement, multiple banks, etc.) * Perform detailed account reconciliations, including cash, accruals, and multiple bank accounts * Prepare variance analysis, and management reports * Investigate and resolve discrepancies in records.* Assist with an ERP software data integration and "go live" process * Work with internal teams to ensure financial controls and compliance * Assist with audit preparation and provide support to external auditorsRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting * CPA or parts passed strongly preferred* 2+ years of audit and/or accounting experience * Management reporting, and multi-entity reconciliation experience * ERP software, and Advanced Excel skillsJob TypeDirect HireCompensation85000 - $115000
