Description Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory investigationsspanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and moreadhering to established protocols.
• Perform data analysis for accuracy, address any discrepancies encountered, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Engage in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Document all procedures meticulously, train intern staff or students, and facilitate the maintenance of lab quality standards.
• Uphold a clean, safety-compliant work environment in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certification Requirements

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Ensure ongoing current certification throughout tenure.
