Abortion Care:

At PPRM, we all work in abortion care. This role supports abortion care through direct clinical triage, patient education, and follow-up, ensuring timely and empathetic support to those navigating abortion services.

Union:

This role is represented by SEIU, Local 105 and is governed by the terms of a collective bargaining agreement.

Paid Training:

To give you the best training possible in the shortest amount of time you may need to travel to Denver for 2-4 weeks during the first 1 to 2 months of employment.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide comprehensive physical exams with a focus on reproductive health for all genders.
• Comprehensive onboarding program including in-house training on first trimester ultrasound and gender affirming care.
• Perform cancer screenings, diagnose/treat STIs, and complete advanced clinical procedures.
• Deliver contraceptive counseling, education, and method provision.
• Participate in abortion care through counseling, referrals, scheduling, and/or direct provision.
• Provide patientcentered, traumainformed care, including medication abortion and genderaffirming care, following all laws and PPRM Medical Standards & Guidelines.
• Partner with patients, care teams, and community agencies to support holistic care.
• Advance access to reproductive healthcare while achieving quality and performance goals as a clinical leader.

Starting Pay:

$49.23–$65.16/hour (based on experience in reproductive/sexual healthcare or with PPRM)

Additional Pay:

+$2.25/hour for Spanish fluency (upon passing test)

Schedule: Part-time position working 30+ hours a week.

Schedule:

Tues, Thurs, Fri - 8am-6pm, and every other Saturday 8am-3pm. Schedules are determined based on operational needs. Ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule to include availability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

COVID-19 Protocol:

Vaccination against COVID-19 will no longer be a condition of employment. However, all Health Center/Patient or Community Facing Employees, must have the COVID vaccine or wear a mask at all times beginning November 1st. Proof must be uploaded upon hire. Flu Protocol:

All employees working directly with patients, the community or working in a health center will be required to have the flu shot or wear a mask during patient/community contact or while in the health center from November 1 – April 30 each year (Flu Season). Our Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum of two (2) years of advanced practice clinical experience in women’s health and/or reproductive medicine.
• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) license in the state where care will be provided (e.g., Colorado or New Mexico).
• Meets state licensing requirements and holds an active state license with prescriptive authority (full prescriptive authority required in Colorado).
• Holds or is willing to obtain DEA certification.
• Eligible for credentialing with Medicaid and other payors (no restrictions).
• Completes inhouse ultrasound training within 1 year if practicing.
• Must be BLS Certified
