Location: Washington, D.C., Kansas Or Remote Key Responsibilities: Design and implement enterprise data warehouse solutions to consolidate clinical, administrative, and operational data. Develop Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to migrate and integrate data from legacy systems into the EHRM solution. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with VA and federal standards. Build reporting and analytics capabilities to support program performance assessment, clinical outcome tracking, and executive dashboards. Collaborate with database architects, data analysts, and business intelligence teams to align warehousing solutions with VA mission needs. Provide technical leadership in resolving complex data integration and transformation challenges. Ensure security and privacy controls are applied to all data environments. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Management, Computer Science, or related field. 8+ years of experience in data warehousing, ETL development, and enterprise reporting. Proficiency with tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS, and experience with Oracle/SQL Server environments. Strong background in healthcare data structures, interoperability (HL7/FHIR), and federal data compliance. Demonstrated ability to translate clinical/operational requirements into data solutions. Experience working with Cerner (Oracle Health) electronic health record solutions and prior involvement with the VA Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program is strongly preferred. The Senior Data Warehousing Specialist shall deliver data warehousing strategy and architecture documentation defining schemas, data marts, and cubes. The Senior Data Warehousing Specialist shall deliver ETL process documentation including scripts and workflows for data integration. The Senior Data Warehousing Specialist shall deliver reporting and analytics dashboards for clinical and executive users. The Senior Data Warehousing Specialist shall deliver data quality and validation reports demonstrating accuracy and compliance with VA standards. The Senior Data Warehousing Specialist shall deliver inputs to the Annual Performance Baseline Report by submitting warehouse performance metrics. The Senior Data Warehousing Specialist shall deliver training and knowledge transfer materials to support VA analysts and end users.
