• Schedule: 1 week per month, 7 on / 7 off, 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Shift: 24-hour coverage with in-house and beeper duties
• Hours/Week: Based on weekly schedule
• Employment Type: Locum
• License/Certifications: Active Ohio medical license, Board Certified in Neuroendovascular Surgery or Vascular Neurosurgery
• Experience: Prior neuroendovascular and stroke management experience preferred

What You’ll Do

• Provide 24/7 neuroendovascular care, including thrombectomy procedures and stroke interventions
• Respond promptly to ED stroke alerts and manage acute neurovascular cases
• Collaborate with hospital staff to deliver inpatient neurovascular treatments
• Document patient care using Epic EMR system
• Participate in on-call duties within a Level 1 trauma center environment
• Support the hospital’s stroke program in a high-volume thrombectomy-capable center
• Perform procedures as deemed appropriate and necessary

What You Need

Required:

• Ohio medical license
• Board certification or eligibility in Neuroendovascular Surgery or Vascular Neurosurgery
• Experience with stroke interventions and thrombectomy procedures
• Ability to perform 24/7 neuroendovascular and stroke call duties

Preferred:

• Experience in a Level 1 trauma or comprehensive stroke center
• Ohio or nearby state residency
