Mammography Tech Trainee

Position Overview You will join as a Mammography Technologist Trainee and work as part of a dedicated team that delivers quality, value, and access in the 21st century, aligning all stakeholders—patients, providers, payors, and regulators—to achieve the best clinical outcomes. You Will Complete a 40-hour initial Mammography Training Course webinar with 8 hours of training in digital mammography (Radnet will reimburse you). Complete 8 hours of training in Tomosynthesis (Radnet will reimburse you). Receive hands‑on training in mammography in preparation for the ARRT mammography registry. Pass the required Mammography Licensing Exam. Become a full‑time mammography technologist with RadNet upon certification. Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management. Safeguard onsite medications in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information, both onsite and on patient portals. Respond to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers. Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions. Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting. Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships. Demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal skills, and respect with patients, guests, and colleagues. Have a structured work‑approach, understand complex problems, and can prioritize work in a fast‑paced environment. Role Requirements A current state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification. BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association. Strong interest and ability to learn new skills in advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and other procedures. Resilient, adaptable, and compassionate; able to provide a calm and friendly demeanor to patients who may be nervous about their exams.
