Position Title: Electrical Technician
Location: Chattanooga, TN
Duration: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Shift Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm - Note: Anything worked after 3:30pm is considered OT until 5:00pm. Anything worked after 5:00pm is considered double time.
Pay Rate: $25-$30/Hour

Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Technician for a top machinery manufacturing client. This candidate will play a key role in assembling, installing, and maintaining electrical control systems for custom machinery. The ideal individual is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with schematics and wiring diagrams in a fast-paced production environment. This role offers strong collaboration with engineering and production teams, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their technical skillset within industrial manufacturing.

Day-to-Day:

• Install and wire electrical control systems, including control panels and sensors
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing control systems
• Troubleshoot electrical and wiring issues to ensure optimal system functionality
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and technicians on project execution
• Report progress and updates to the Electrical Production Manager

Must Have Experience & Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience with controls wiring and electrical systems
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
• Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting control systems
• Ability to wire control panels, sensors, and related electrical components

Plusses:

• Experience wiring enclosures for custom machinery
• Background in machinery manufacturing environments
• Exposure to working alongside engineers and project teams
