The opportunities are endless.Job OverviewThe Nursery Team Member is responsible for the care, maintenance, and management of nursery stock, ensuring trees and plant materials remain healthy, organized, and ready for site installation or sale. This role supports all aspects of nursery operations, including watering, pruning, fertilization, loading and unloading materials, planting and harvesting trees, and maintaining a clean, safe, and professional nursery environment.Responsibilities and DutiesWater, fertilize, prune, stake, and monitor nursery stock; identify and report signs of pests, disease, damage, or other health concernsPlant, transplant, and extract trees and other nursery materials, as neededLoad, unload, organize, and prepare plant material for delivery and installationOperate nursery equipment and tools safely and efficientlyMaintain nursery grounds through mowing, trimming, weed management, debris removal, and general property upkeepRepair and maintain nursery infrastructure, including fences, gates, roads, and planting areasAssist with inventory organization, plant identification, and material managementFollow company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environmentSupport team members and assist with seasonal and operational needs assigned, including other departmentsAssisting in training and development of other nursery personnelTagging trees for upcoming deliveries when neededOther duties as assignedJob RequirementsExperience operating landscape, agricultural, or nursery equipment such as skid steers, tractors, trailers, mowers, and power tools, preferredAbility to safely perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditionsExperience with planting, transplanting, and handling nursery stock, preferredBasic understanding of grounds maintenance practices, including mowing, trimming, grading, and debris managementStrong attention to detail, organization, and quality standardsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamValid driver's license, preferredAbility to regularly lift and carry up to 50 poundsGeneral tool use and maintenanceThe Perks401(k) plan with company matchMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceFSA/HSAPerkSpotLong-Term Disability and Life InsurancePaid time OffTuition Reimbursement (after one year of service)Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
