School-Based Speech Language Pathologist

School-Based Speech Language Pathologist providing therapy services to students in Henrico, Virginia for a 14-week contract, delivering individualized treatment plans and supporting IEP goals. Supports student communication development and academic success by collaborating with educators and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy services to students in a school setting, addressing communication disorders across speech, language, and fluency domains.
• Conduct assessments and interpret results to support eligibility determinations and inform individualized treatment plans.
• Develop, implement, and document progress on IEP-related goals, including required documentation and data tracking.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student needs and outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with school and contract requirements, including scheduling, required reporting, and professional standards.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders (or equivalent).
• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain); ASHA CCCs preferred (or equivalent credentialing).
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist (school-based experience preferred).
• Must work days and maintain 37.5 hours per week schedule.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ability to complete assessments, document progress, and support student IEP/IEP-related needs.
• Professional, student-centered approach.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Background check compliant with school/contract requirements.
