Technologist III and Senior Engineering Technologist both provide technical expertise to solve more complex problems, and leadership skills to manage work in a specific area of expertise, with minimal supervision. Incumbents are expected to develop advanced skills and to have the ability to work independently with increased latitude for unreviewed work.**Job Responsibilities*** Provides subject matter technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of problems in area of expertise.* Work within a team environment and collaborates across multiple work groups to accomplish common goals.* Ensures accomplishment of business goals and objectives through effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring of work activities.* Independently reviews and prepares thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations and sketches.* Conducts engineering and related studies.* Strives to continually improve job-related, technical and professional knowledge, skills and performance.* Develops positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities. Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills. Maintains accurate records and files.* Supports the company's goals and represents the company positively and professionally.* Coaches and mentors other Engineering Technologists and Engineers.**Basic/Required Qualifications - Engineering Technologist III**Either 2+ years of relevant industry experience coupled with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Engineering Technology, or 4+ years of experience and Associate Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, or 6+ years equivalent experience without a degree**Basic/Required Qualifications - Senior Engineering Technologist**Either 4+ years of relevant industry experience coupled with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Engineering Technology, or 6+ years of experience and Associate Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, or 8+ years equivalent experience without a degree**Additional Preferred Qualifications*** Good written and oral communication skills.* Experience with AutoCAD Electrical (ACADE) to create schematics and templates for standards and capital project support.* Experience in the utility industry.* Experience with Maximo and/or TIM to develop and support items and Compatible Units (CUs).* Ability to address change requests by the production teams.#LI-PG1#LI-Hybrid****Travel Requirements****5-15%### Relocation Assistance Provided (as applicable)No### Represented/Union PositionNo### Visa Sponsored PositionNo. This is not a Visa Sponsored Position.
