Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Schedule

All shifts; holiday coverage required.

Assignment Details

Shared contractor housing only; no pets or family allowed.

Requirements

Must have at least 3 years of prior ICU experience.
Associate Degree in Nursing.
Current valid unrestricted Professional Nursing License (RN) to practice nursing in any state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification must be completed within six (6) months of hire.
Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification must be completed within six (6) months of hire.
NIH - NIHSS certification must be completed within six (6) months of hire.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
Float to Emergency Department, Medical/Surgical unit, or Pediatrics as needed.
Perform responsible nursing care procedures, following doctors' orders and standards of care.
Support inpatient care and recovery processes after surgeries across various specialties.
Work independently in completing assignments with consideration of specific patient conditions.
