Travel Nursing Job Details Specialty: Labor & Delivery Nursing Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020–$2,130 Start Date: November 23, 2026 End Date: January 16, 2027 Assignment Length: Approximately 8 weeks Schedule: 3 shifts per week Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts Hours: 36 hours per week Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse assignment Work Setting: On-site hospital Labor & Delivery unit Travel RN Job Requirements At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience, preferably in Labor & Delivery Completion of an approved professional nursing program Valid Oklahoma or multistate Registered Nurse license Current BLS certification Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification Proof of instruction or successful completion of Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring Epic experience required; experience with additional Epic environments is preferred Working knowledge of disease-state management, the biopsychosocial model, and clinical pathways Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete work accurately in a fast-paced clinical environment Strong attention to detail when evaluating clinical and numerical data Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care Provide safe, compassionate care to patients throughout the labor and delivery process Complete comprehensive assessments and develop care plans consistent with unit standards and nursing guidelines Perform nursing interventions appropriate for the patient population while considering cultural, psychosocial, and age-related needs Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and demonstrate sound clinical judgment Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and other healthcare professionals Delegate appropriately and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team Document assessments, interventions, patient responses, and progress accurately and consistently in the electronic medical record Provide patient education and support discharge planning, referrals, and transitions of care Anticipate patient and unit needs while supporting quality improvement and educational initiatives Complete required in-services, education standards, and variance reports Apply now for this Labor & Delivery travel nursing opportunity in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and join a collaborative healthcare team.
