Secretary/Technician- Planning/GIS Department

Qualifications Strong knowledge of County geography and local municipal government Good communication skills with public inquiries concerning land ownership, municipal permitting, land subdivision reviews, and local zoning ordinances Knowledge of Act 247, the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code Ability to work in both group and individual settings Excellent written and verbal communication skills Academic and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software Academic or working knowledge in GIS technology, preferably with ESRI ArcGIS and other ESRI software.
