What you will enjoy doing:

• Provide leadership, product scheduling and product quality reviews to ensure the day-to-day operations of the Analytical Chemists are achieved.
• Responsible for all supervisory duties as assigned for any subordinates assigned.
• Carry out new method development, analytical research, and product stability testing assignments in meeting weekly objectives.
• Analyze technical aspects of projects and determine methods and techniques to be used and principles to be applied.
• Utilize or adapt standard methods of procedure.
• Prepare periodic and final progress reports in conjunction with the National Quality Team.
• Manage equipment calibrations, maintenance, upkeep and replacement cycles to ensure all laboratory equipment are functional to LG&E's cGMP requirements.
• Work within a team environment with the Plant, Production and Maintenance Managers to be audit ready every day.

What makes you great:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Industrial Gas experience is preferred
• One to two (1-2) years Supervisory experience is required for this role
• Three to five (3-5) years Lab experience
• Experience in gas chromatography, FTIR, and process analyzers
