Join our team as a CT Technologist and play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging.
What You'll Be Doing
- Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to scans
- Coordinate with physicians for diagnostic imaging
- Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures
- Insert IVs when necessary for tests
- Position patients safely, including those with limited mobility
- Maintain accurate patient records in EPIC and ensure images are sent to PACS
- Keep the scanning facility clean and safe
What We Need To See
- NYS licensure prior to starting the position
- ARRT certification
- Two years of experience as a CT Technologist
- Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd
- Injection certification, willing to complete during orientation
- Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment
