Janitorial Technician We are currently seeking a compassionate person to join our talented team as a Janitorial Technician. This is a full‑time position. Wage is $20.29 to $21.23 per hour, subject to experience. Responsibilities Ensure that all interior and exterior areas of the campus are attractive, clean, and well‑maintained. Maintain the exterior by walking the building daily to make sure sidewalks, landscaping, entryways and parking lots are free of debris, litter and dog waste. Monitor garbage and recycling areas on campus. Clean windows, remove cobwebs, and clear snow and/or ice from windows. Perform custodial duties inside the buildings, upholding a “white glove” standard of presentation. Strip, wax and buff floors. Clean carpets. Sanitize kitchen and lavatory facilities. Maintain the swimming pool, including chemicals, temperature and cleanliness. Empty garbage receptacles. Assist with housekeeping duties as needed. Experience maintaining and cleaning swimming pools. “Can do” attitude and passion for maintaining a five‑star site appearance. Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions. Ability to read, write and speak English; effective communication with residents and team members. Physical ability to perform tasks requiring continuous walking, standing, bending, and lifting. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques. Composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff, and visitors. Benefits Paid time off (including holidays).
